Thanksgiving

This is a wonderful time on the Island. There is coolness in the air and Thanksgiving Day holds many activities. One island tradition is playing golf on Thanksgiving morning and then coming home to enjoy time with family and friends for Thanksgiving dinner. Another Island tradition is the Turkey Trot. This is a 15-year old tradition on Hilton Head Island. Held on Thanksgiving morning, racers come from all over to compete. The race begins at The Boat House on Squire Pope Road and runs through Hilton Head Plantation. Also join the after-party following the race at the Boathouse II Restaurant.
