Our vacation rental customers frequently ask questions about SeaCoast Homes and Villas policies.

When is check-in time?

Check in time begins at 4:00pm. Please do not attempt to check in prior to this time so we can ensure you enjoy a freshly clean home or villa. Our housekeepers need until 4:00pm to complete their duties.

What are checkout procedures?

Your welcome package will be located in a lock-box in front of our office if you are checking in late. Otherwise, Your welcome package will be at our office and will include: Directions to your home or villas, keys, and passes.

When is check-out time?

Checkout time is 10:00am. If you have not vacated by that time, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee. This ensures that the next guest also enjoys clean accommodations. Please plan ahead.

What is your pet policy?

Pets are only permitted in our Pet Friendly Homes and Villas. They are not permitted in any other units. Pet-friendly units require a $150 nonrefundable pet fee.

What if we have a SERVICE EMERGENCY while we're on vacation?

Despite our best efforts, occasionally something breaks! If this happens, please consult the directory located on the face of your property phone. There you will find the appropriate numbers for maintenance and housekeeping.

What should we bring with us?

Your Home or Villa is a fully equipped vacation home, and includes appliances, dishes, cookware, an iron and ironing board. And all linens. You will only need to bring your own beach towels, as our bath towels are not to be taken to the beach. We also start you out with a starter set of detergent, bath soap, trash bags, and toilet and tissue paper. If you will be washing large amounts, be sure to bring more or plan to purchase them on the island. (please advise us if you plan on using the sleeper sofa.)

What happens if a hurricane hits while we are on vacation?

We will not issue refunds for situations arising from weather, including hurricanes or evacuations. We strongly recommend that you purchase a Travel Insurance policy if you are traveling during July through October.

What if we need to cancel our trip?

Cancellations must be received in writing no less than 60 days prior to your arrival date. All cancellations will be charged 5% of your rental fee. No cancellations will be accepted, and no refunds given, less than 60 days from arrival date.

What about Travel Insurance?

We are pleased to offer travel insurance. This protects you from losses due to unforeseen circumstances, illness, injuries, or even hurricane evacuation. The cost is calculated by percentage of the total rental rate, the length of stay, and time of year. If you do not purchase insurance , please contact our office for more information.
